Enhanced BI Updates – Version – 8.3.2.1

A new version of EBI has been released. The changes are listed below.

New Features

– Auto-calculated update time: EBI now picks the best moment to install auto-updates, automatically steering around the times your scheduled processes run.

Improvements

– The cloud backup step is now skipped quietly on offline servers instead of reporting a connection error during “Recreate LP schedules”.

– Scheduler: a failed LP run now shows the steps that completed before the failure in the Output dialog (previously only the error was shown).

Fixes

– Fixed: an automatic update could begin installing while a scheduled process was still running and disrupt it. Updates now wait for running processes to finish first.

– Fixed: a scheduled run that started just as an update began could run against partially-updated files. It is now held and re-run automatically once the update has finished.

– Auto-Update: when the chosen time isn’t free, the update now retries progressively earlier over the following day rather than forcing itself on top of a running process.
